The Summer Trends I'll Be Wearing #3: Tropical Print

Tropical Print epitomizes summer.  Luckily for us, brands like ZARA have found a way to not make us look like a middle-aged man at Disney World.  I'm seen a few cute tops but this one is by far my favorite. It is slightly a crop top, sporty chic and the print is subtle.  And at $39.99, the price is unbeatable.

Officially Boot Season

That means I officially have three months to enjoy cold weather before it turns brutal.  I am an island girl.  Anything below 40 is not my jam...

How many outfits can you mix and match from this gray batch? Or is it grey? Damn you English, you are so confusing sometimes.

Fantasy/Reality: Rebecca Minkoff Oxford Flats

On Saturday I decided to take a stroll to my favorite vintage store on the Meatpacking District and to kill time went into Marshall's to look at home stuff.  It didn't take much to take a detour to the shoe section, and there they were: gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff oxfords. I've been meaning to buy black oxfords for a while and thought these were perfect.  They were different enough to be fashion forward by simple enough to be timeless.  I got them for a whopping $80 and my wallet can't be happy enough.  Marshall's, you always treat me right.

Fantasy/Reality: Bow Trimmed Hat

The other day I was wandering through Union Square and went into F21 to browse.  I'm not much of an impulse buyer but when I saw this blue hat I just had to have it.  Lucky me, it was pretty cheap.  The one I actually bought has a wider brim than the one below.  In a perfect world I would do a high/low mix with a gorgeous Celine bag in tote.  For now, I'll just have to settle for a gorgeous Zara bag.
